The Frontend Developer will turn product concepts into interactive web experiences that meet performance and accessibility goals. Working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers, the developer builds responsive user interfaces, ensures cross‑browser consistency, and integrates API data into seamless workflows. Ownership includes delivering reusable components, troubleshooting UI defects, and contributing to the front‑end build pipeline. The role requires independent execution of feature tasks while collaborating on technical decisions that affect the user‑facing layer of the application.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and ship reusable UI components using React and modern JavaScript.
Translate wireframes and design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive pages.
Optimize page load performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and asset minification.
Write unit and integration tests for UI logic with Jest and React Testing Library.
Debug and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues using Chrome DevTools.
Maintain and evolve the shared component library and style guide.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and handle data flow.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback on quality and best practices.
Contribute to CI pipeline configuration to automate linting, testing, and builds.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
2 to 4 years of skilled experience building web applications as a Frontend Developer.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and up-to-date JavaScript (ES6+).
Proven experience developing single-page applications with React (or comparable framework).
Ability to interpret UI/UX designs and produce functional, accessible interfaces.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
