We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Security team. You'll work on securing Swish's applications, cloud infrastructure, internal systems, and engineering setting. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll build security tools and automation, strengthen access controls, identify vulnerabilities, and work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams.
What You'll Do
Build security tools, automation, and internal security systems using Go, Python, or other suitable languages.
Help secure AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, containers, and internal systems.
Design and improve IAM, access controls, and least-privilege permissions.
Improve secrets management and secure handling of sensitive information.
Identify vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure,
and dependencies and work with engineering teams to fix them.
Build security checks and guardrails into CI/CD and development workflows.
Improve security monitoring, logging, and detection capabilities.
Participate in investigating and responding to security incidents.
Review technical designs and infrastructure changes from a security perspective.
Work closely with engineering teams to improve secure development and deployment practices.
Automate security processes and reduce manual security checks.
What We're Looking For
1–4 years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, application security, cloud security, or a related engineering role.
Robust programming fundamentals and experience with at least one programming language.
Experience with Go or Python is preferred.
Hands-on experience with cloud, application, or infrastructure security in a production environment.
