As a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit, you will play a significant role in designing and implementing our Kubernetes-based runtime environment, which is fundamental to driving the Intuit platform's cutting-edge solutions at scale. We are looking for a technical leader with profound expertise in Kubernetes (specifically Amazon EKS), Golang, and AWS to drive major capabilities and ensure operational excellence in high-impact projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and implementation efforts of multiple capabilities or sections within our AI native Kubernetes platform.
Serve as a technical leader and domain expert across multiple teams.
Drive and guide cutting-edge work that may include the development of current-to-the-world technology solutions.
Influence technology and product direction through detailed technical documents and RCA’s.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, share, and address risks impacting our business.
Drive customer-focused design and development with a deep understanding of customer pains and needs.
Advocate and lead by example to encourage contributions to codebases and innovations across Intuit.
Mentor and assess engineers to foster a talented and inclusive technical team.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Considerable expertise in Kubernetes, especially with Amazon EKS, including operator patterns, Kubernetes clients, controllers, shared informers, and caching mechanisms.
