Title Description for Opportunity :

Role Name: Spark/Scala Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and Scala for batch and real-time processing.

· Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

· Work with Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, and cloud platforms to process large-scale structured and unstructured data.

· Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Spark applications to improve efficiency, scalability,



and operational stability.

Must Have Skills:
Apache Spark (Core, SQL, Streaming)
Scala Programming
Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase)
SQL & Data Warehousing Concepts
ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
Kafka / Data Ingestion Frameworks
Unix / Shell Scripting
Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Databricks & Delta Lake
CI/CD, Git, and Performance Tuning of Spark Jobs
Walk-in Drive Locations - Kolkata .
Experience Range: 4 to 10 years
Qualifications: Any Technical Degree(BE/B,Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BCA/BSC/Diploma/Masters)

Eligibility:
15 years of full time education.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Robust verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work in a cooperative and dynamic environment
Relevant experience as per the job requirements (if applicable)
