Job Summary
The Senior Backend Engineer / Tech Lead will design, develop, scale, and maintain secure, high-performance backend systems for the organization while providing technical leadership and supporting end-to-end product delivery. The role requires solid expertise in Python, Rapid API, Postgre SQL, API architecture, multi-tenant Saa S, RBAC, workflow engines, microservices, Docker, and CI/CD, together with strong system design and technical leadership capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience building production Saa S products, preferably in AR, collections, fintech, ERP, or AI automation, and be comfortable working in an early-stage/startup workplace. The candidate must demonstrate strong ownership, the ability to build features end-to-end, and good testing, documentation, and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Engineering
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Fast API. Develop secure and high-performance REST APIs. Design Postgre SQL databases, schemas, queries and indexes. Implement business logic,



workflows and background processing. Build asynchronous services and scheduled jobs. Develop reusable and maintainable backend components. Implement robust error handling, logging and monitoring. Architecture & System Design
Lead backend architecture and technical design decisions. Design microservices and service-to-service communication. Develop multi-tenant Saa S architecture. Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Design scalable authentication and authorization mechanisms. Identify performance bottlenecks and improve system scalability. Establish coding standards and architecture guidelines. Dev Ops & Deployment
Work with Docker-based development and deployment environments. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Support cloud-based application deployments. Implement application monitoring, logging and alerting. Collaborate with Dev Ops engineers on infrastructure improvements. Technical Lea
