Role Summary:
The Service Now Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Service Now applications and integrations across ITSM and enterprise workflows. The role requires solid hands‐on expertise in Service Now scripting, custom application development, integrations, and platform best practices, with the ability to support business‐critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Now Development & Configuration
Design, develop, and customize Service Now modules including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request). Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Catalog Client Scripts. Build and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, and Flow Designer solutions. Configure forms, lists, notifications, approval workflows, and access controls. Scripting & Platform Customization




Robust hands‐on development using Java Script within Service Now. Develop reusable and scalable server‐side and client‐side scripts. Implement platform best practices to ensure performance, maintainability, and upgrade safety. Work on ACLs, data policies, and role‐based access controls. Integrations & Automation
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration hubs. Integrate Service Now with third‐party systems (Monitoring tools, CMDB sources, IAM, Dev Ops tools, etc.). Support inbound and outbound data integrations and transformations. CMDB & ITSM Enablement
Configure and enhance CMDB, discovery, and service mapping components. Ensure CMDB data quality and alignment with ITIL processes. Work closely with process owners to implement ITSM improvements. L3 Support & Delivery
Act as L3 escalation point for complex Service Now issues. Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring defects. Support rel
