Senior Guidewire Engineer (Policy Center & Billing Center)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in both Policy Center and Billing Center. This individual will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and integrating Guidewire solutions that support enterprise insurance operations.
The ideal candidate has deep configuration and integration experience, solid Java fundamentals, and a disciplined approach to engineering, including Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Key Responsibilities
Guidewire Development & Configuration
Design and implement solutions in Policy Center and Billing Center
Perform configuration work including:
Product Model changes PCF/UI enhancements Business Rules Workflows Batch processes 3. Customize and extend Guidewire applications using Gosu
Integration Development
Build and maintain integrations using:
Guidewire Integration Framework REST and SOAP services Messaging systems (where applicable) 2. Develop and maintain backend services using Java




Ensure secure and scalable integration patterns
Engineering Best Practices
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices Maintain strong unit test coverage Participate in peer code reviews Follow clean code and OOP design principles Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and Dev Ops teams Translate business requirements into technical design Contribute to architectural discussions and technical planning Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies Required Qualifications
1.5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience
Strong experience in both:
Policy Center Billing Center 3. Active Guidewire Certifications:
Policy Center (Associate or ACE preferred) Billing Center (Associate or ACE preferred) 4. Solid understanding of:
Java Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Design patterns 5. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
