Roles and Responsibilities
Proven experience of 5 to 8 years as a Ruby on Rails developer Strong understanding of the Ruby language and its nuances. Design, develop, and maintain robust and effective Ruby scripts for multiple needs.
Expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework and its core principles (MVC, RESTful architecture, Active Record, etc.). Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Java Script, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with modern Java Script frameworks (e.g., React JS, Angular JS) is a significant plus. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and advanced design patterns: Design Principles. Experience with relational databases (e.g., My SQL, Postgre SQL, SQL, SQLite) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts. Familiarity with concepts of Mocking and testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec). Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git. Experience with API frameworks and API integration. Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
