Responsibilities:
Set up and operate injection moulding and blow moulding machines as per production plans and product
specifications.
Adjust machine settings, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to achieve optimal molding results.
Monitor and control injection molding processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
Conduct regular inspections of molded parts to identify defects or issues and take corrective actions as needed.
Perform mold changes, setups, and tooling adjustments accurately and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or molding issues to minimize downtime and maintain production
targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the injection molding area and workstations.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on injection molding machines to ensure
optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Record production data, including cycle times, scrap rates, and machine downtime, and report to supervisors.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet the required specifications and standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Train and mentor junior operators to improve their skills and knowledge in injection molding processes.
