Responsibilities:
Research and Summarization: Conduct literature reviews and research to gather relevant information on assigned scientific topics. Summarize findings in a clear and comprehensible manner.
Familiarity with PubMed, Mendeley/Zotero:
Scientific Writing: Assist in the development of scientific documents, including research papers, technical reports, and presentations. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to appropriate scientific writing conventions.
Editing and Proofreading: Collaborate with team members to edit and proofread scientific documents, ensuring grammatical correctness, clarity, and coherence.
Data Analysis: Support the scientific team in analyzing and interpreting data. Translate data into meaningful narratives for inclusion in scientific publications.
Collaboration: Work closely with scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate representation of scientific findings.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of research materials, literature, and drafts.
Assist in the preparation of documentation required for research publications.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in microbiology, biotechnology, or life sciences.
Robust written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with scientific writing conventions and styles.
Ability to synthesize complex scientific information into transparent and concise language.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant scientific software.
Detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
