Role
:
Data Governance Architect: R&R;
Define and implement the Data Governance strategy, operating model, and framework (policies, standards, procedures).
Establish data ownership, stewardship roles, and accountability across business and technical teams.
Lead data quality management initiatives (profiling, completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness).
Create and maintain data standards, definitions,



and a common business glossary.
Define data classification and ensure appropriate controls for sensitive data (PII/PHI/confidential).
Design and support metadata management, data lineage, and data catalog adoption.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations (as applicable).
Define data access and usage controls, including role-based access and approval workflows.
Support governance for enterprise reporting (e.g., Book of Business, Data Completeness, KPI dashboards).
Partner with engineering teams to ensure governance is embedded into data pipelines and architecture.
Create governance metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility.
Drive issue management processes for data defects including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
Provide guidance on governance best practices during recent system implementations and migrations.
