Position: Laser Machine Operator - Elevator Line or Manufacturing

Department: Production

Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Shop Floor In-Charge

Job Purpose

To operate laser cutting machines for elevator components, ensuring accurate cutting as per drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Operate laser cutting machine for elevator parts such as cabin panels, doors, frames, brackets, and sheets
Read and understand engineering drawings and cutting layouts
Set up machine parameters (program selection, material thickness, cutting speed)
Perform material loading and unloading safely
Check dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometer, steel scale
Ensure cut parts meet quality standards and tolerances
Carry out basic machine cleaning and daily maintenance checks
Identify and report machine issues, defects, or deviations to supervisor
Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices
Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
Coordinate with QC and production team to meet daily targets





Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of laser cutting machine operation (Fiber / CNC Laser preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings
Basic knowledge of sheet metal and elevator components
Familiar with measuring instruments
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
Basic computer/program handling skills (preferred)

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, or related trade

Experience
1 to 5 years experience as Laser Operator
Experience in elevator manufacturing or sheet metal industry preferred

Working Conditions

Factory / Shop floor setting

Rotational shifts or extended hours as per production requirement

Salary Up to 32k with the Documents.

Timing : 9: 00 AM to 6:00 PM

Monday to saturday

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
