Role Overview

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors for residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects. The role involves vendor development, rate negotiation, cost control, contract coordination, timely procurement, and ensuring quality materials are delivered within project timelines and budgets.

The incumbent will play a key role in optimizing procurement costs, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and supporting smooth project execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Planning & Execution
Plan and execute procurement activities for civil, finishing, MEP, and project-related materials and services.




Understand project requirements and prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
Float inquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements for approvals.
Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid project delays.
Coordinate with project teams to understand site requirements and material consumption.

Vendor Development & Management
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Maintain approved vendor list (AVL) and categorize vendors as per performance.
Build long-term relationships with reliable vendors for cost-effective procurement.
Conduct vendor audits, performance reviews, and capability assessments.
Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Rate Negotiation & Cost Control
Negotiate rates with vendors and subcontractors to achieve cost optimization.
Conduct market rate analysis and benchmarking for materials and services.
