Job Title: Mid Level Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for Konark Realtors. This role involves handling GST filings, expense tracking, and financial reporting, as well as assisting in preparing P&L; statements, balance sheets, and other reports critical for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts for both companies using Tally, Zoho Books, or similar software.
Record all daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations.
GST & Tax Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly as applicable) for both businesses.
Handle TDS deductions, filings, and reconciliation.
Coordinate with tax consultants for IT filings and compliance-related matters.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Track expenses vs. revenues,



highlighting any discrepancies or overspending.
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Generate financial summaries for management to assess business health and plan investments.
Expense & Revenue Management
Maintain detailed records of project-wise costs, vendor payments, and client receipts.
Work with the design and real estate teams to forecast upcoming financial requirements.
Monitor profit margins for design projects and real estate developments.
Audit & Compliance
Assist in preparing documents for internal and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with Company Law, GST Act, and other applicable regulations.
Process Improvement
Implement systematic expense tracking mechanisms for both companies.
Suggest improvements in financial processes to optimize cash flow and working capital.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or F
