*Job Profile: Welfare Officer

Role Overview:
The Welfare Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees by managing welfare programs, maintaining compliance with labour laws, and fostering a harmonious workplace environment. This position requires a proactive individual with a robust understanding of labour compliances and the ability to effectively manage employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:
Labour Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to all relevant labour laws and the four labour codes, including the Factory Act, Minimum Wages, Industrial Relations, and Social Security.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Employee Relations:
Foster positive relationships between workers and management to create a harmonious work setting.
Address and resolve employee grievances promptly and effectively.
Welfare Program Management:
Develop and implement welfare programs that promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
Oversee medical facilities, first aid,



transport, and canteen operations to ensure high standards of service and compliance.
Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions and counselling programs to enhance employee skills and address workplace issues.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
Health & Safety Oversight:
Supervise health and safety activities to ensure a safe working workplace for all employees.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Manage and maintain comprehensive welfare documentation and records.
Prepare and present reports on welfare activities and compliance status to management.

Qualifications:
Education:
A regular MBA degree from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the hand tool s
