Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for different metals.
Create and modify DXF Drawing programs using CAD/CAM software
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
Adjust machine settings for optimal cutting performance
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Optimize cutting processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Collaborate with production and engineering teams
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator and/or Programmer
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance
High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fiber laser machines
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication
Knowledge of nesting software
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
