Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Sand, grind, and clean large-scale metal and fiberglass surfaces. Perform detailed masking and taping of windows, chrome, and chassis components.
Paint Mixing: Accurately match and mix industrial primers, basecoats, and high-solid polyurethane topcoats using manufacturer codes and spectrophotometers.
Quality Control: Inspect finished work for "orange peel," runs, or dust nibs. Perform buffing and polishing to meet fleet or OEM standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and troubleshooting of spray guns, lines, and ventilation systems.
Safety Compliance: Strictly follow hazardous material (VOC) disposal protocols and wear appropriate PPE, including air-supplied respirators.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years in industrial or automotive spray painting (Heavy Vehicle experience preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in 2-pack paint systems, epoxy primers, and anti-corrosive coatings.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders/scaffolding) and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for color matching and surface imperfections.
Certification: Trade certificate in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent experience is a plus.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
