Fabriplay is an IIT Madras-incubated FashionTech SaaS company transforming how bespoke fashion businesses operate. Our platform helps fashion designers, boutiques, and custom clothing businesses manage customers, orders, measurements, production, billing, and business operations in one place.
We are expanding across India and international markets and are looking for a Business Development Lead to build and lead our sales engine.
Role
As Business Development Lead, you will own customer acquisition, outbound sales, pipeline development, and revenue growth. You will lead the BD team while remaining hands-on with prospecting, cold calling, product demos, negotiations, and closing key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute Fabriplay's B2B sales and business development strategy.
Build and manage a solid, predictable sales pipeline across target markets.
Lead outbound sales and cold-calling initiatives to identify and engage prospective customers.




Develop prospect lists and identify decision-makers across boutiques, fashion designers, tailor shops, and bespoke clothing businesses.
Personally engage with high-value prospects through cold calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate Fabriplay's business value.
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting → qualification → demo → negotiation → closure → onboarding.
Set and manage sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the BD team.
Recruit, train, coach, and manage Business Development Executives/Associates.
Establish a structured sales process, playbooks, scripts, and follow-up mechanisms.
Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, sales velocity, and revenue performance.
Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and develop strategic partnerships.
Identify current geographies, customer segments, and channels for expansion.
