Mercor is hiring Hindi-speaking bilingual writers to help capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with a next-generation AI assistant, in partnership with a leading AI lab.
In this role, you will use a specialized version of the application on your own Mac to complete everyday tasks through voice interactions, evaluate the AI's responses, and document results in both Hindi and English as required.
Responsibilities
- Use voice interactions to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday productivity applications.
- Direct the AI assistant to perform tasks such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, and summarizing documents.
- Accurately transcribe spoken queries and prepare cleaned-up versions of transcripts.
- Evaluate and rate AI-generated responses for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
- Record task outcomes and relevant details in a structured tracking sheet.
- Upload supporting voice recordings and task materials to a shared drive.
- Follow project guidelines consistently and perform self-directed quality checks.
- Provide reliable language and interaction data to support the development of natural, voice-driven AI systems.
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi, with India-based language and cultural familiarity preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions in English.
- Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3).
- Must be running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
- Comfortable using common productivity applications, including email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and web browsers.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy in transcription and data entry.
- Comfortable performing structured quality reviews independently.
