Role Description The Vice President – Admissions is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing and driving the admissions strategy across Velammal Educational Trust institutions. This position manages the end-to-end admissions process,



including planning enrollment targets, designing and implementing outreach initiatives, and ensuring consistent admissions policies and procedures. The role involves leading admissions teams, monitoring application pipelines, coordinating with academic and administrative departments, and using data to forecast trends and optimize seat utilization. The Vice President – Admissions will develop communication plans for prospective learners and families, represent the trust at events and forums, handle escalations related to admissions, and ensure that all activities align with the trust’s values and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Robust leadership and people management skills, with experience directing cross-functional teams and building cooperative relationships.
Expertise in admissions management, enrollment planning, and student recruitment, preferably in K–12 or higher education institutions.
