Role Summary

Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Secondary Biology Teacher to deliver engaging Biology lessons, mentor students, and contribute to academic excellence through cutting-edge, technology-enabled teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE curriculum for Grades XI & XII.
Prepare annual lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, practicals, and board-oriented assessments.
Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring safety and proper documentation.
Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments and maintain academic records.
Guide students for board examinations and competitive exam preparation where applicable.
Create an inclusive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment using smart classroom tools.




Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and colleagues through PTMs and academic meetings.
Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications

M.Sc. in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences (Mandatory)
B.Ed. (Mandatory)
3–6+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred
Excellent English communication and classroom management skills

Desired Skills Strong subject knowledge, digital teaching proficiency, student mentoring, lesson planning, assessment design, collaboration, and effective parent communication.
