Role Description The Medical Resident role at Apex Hospitals is a full-time, in office position based in Lucknow. Residents will provide direct patient care under supervision, including admitting patients, taking histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting with treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics,



emergency care, and procedures, while collaborating closely with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Residents are expected to document clinical encounters accurately, follow hospital protocols, contribute to quality improvement activities, and maintain high standards of safety and ethics. The role also involves ongoing learning through case discussions, academic sessions, and staying current with medical guidelines and research.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in core Medicine and clinical decision-making, with the ability to manage common inpatient and outpatient conditions.
Exposure to Cardiology and related acute care skills, including basic interpretation of ECGs and cardiac investigations.
Basic surgical skills and comfort assisting in Surgery, minor procedures, and pre- and post-operative patient management.
