Role Description The Ship Operations Manager – Dry Bulk (Post-Fixture) will oversee day-to-day post-fixture operations for dry bulk voyages, ensuring protected, effective, and cost-effective execution of charter party agreements. This full time,



on-site role is based in Chennai and involves close coordination with charterers, brokers, vessel owners, masters, and internal teams to manage fixture confirmations, voyage instructions, and operational follow-up. Responsibilities include monitoring vessel positions and performance, handling laytime and demurrage calculations, tracking cargo operations, and resolving operational issues and disputes in line with contractual obligations. The role also includes preparing operational reports, maintaining accurate documentation within Marlo’s platform, supporting compliance with regulatory and company standards, and contributing to process improvements for voyage and fleet management.
