We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. The candidate will work closely with our design and development teams on real-time web and mobile application projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design clean, up-to-date, and user-friendly interfaces for websites and mobile applications.
Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Work primarily with Figma for UI design and prototyping.
Conduct basic user research and competitor analysis.
Apply UI/UX principles including typography, colour, spacing, visual hierarchy, and accessibility.
Design responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
Create and maintain reusable components and design systems.
Collaborate with developers for smooth design handoff and implementation.
Review existing interfaces and suggest improvements based on usability and user experience.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, design discussions, and project reviews.
Required Skills
Valuable understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Working knowledge of Figma, Auto Layout, Components, and Prototyping.
Basic knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design.
Good visual design sense and attention to detail.
Understanding of UX research, user journeys, information architecture, and usability.
Valuable communication, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Ability to accept feedback and improve designs accordingly.
Preferred
Students, fresh graduates, or candidates who have completed a UI/UX course.
A portfolio containing UI/UX projects is preferred.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and developer handoff will be an added advantage.
