About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and data platforms. You will develop systems end-to-end — from data modelling and API design through event streaming and production operations — while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities
Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI
Create & Optimize data models in PostgreSQL
Build and maintain event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
Design data pipelines and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow
Lead low-level and high-level design sessions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code

Required Skills
Python — advanced proficiency
FastAPI — API design, versioning, dependency injection
PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, migrations
Apache Kafka — producers, consumers, streams; production experience required
Robust communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Valuable to Have
Neo4j — graph data modelling
GraphQL — schema design and API design patterns
Basic familiarity with containerization and CI/CD workflows
Apache Airflow — DAG design and pipeline orchestration
