We are hiring a Video Editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form and long-form content for our brands and clients. You own the edit from ingest to final export, working closely with our shoot, script, and social teams.

Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form vertical video (Instagram & Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content
Cut, sequence, and pace footage for platform-native storytelling and retention
Add motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and subtitles (Tamil and English)
Colour grade and correct footage for a consistent brand look
Handle sound design, music syncing, and audio cleanup
Repurpose a single shoot into multiple content formats
Collaborate with scriptwriters, shooters, and social media managers on creative direction
Maintain organised project files, assets, and version control
Ship on deadline across an active content calendar

Requirements
Proven experience editing social-first video (portfolio required)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
Strong grasp of short-form pacing, hooks, and retention editing
Working knowledge of colour grading, sound design, and motion typography




Understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook video specs and trends
Speed without loss of craft quality
Robust file management and deadline discipline

Good to Have
Motion graphics and basic animation
CapCut and mobile editing workflows
Working knowledge of multiple related video-editing tools
Comfort with AI-assisted editing and asset tools
Tamil and English bilingual editing (captions, voiceover sync)
