Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Associate Head – Production to lead Machine Shop operations, ensuring safe, productive, and cost-effective production. The role is responsible for production planning and execution, manpower management, process improvement, quality compliance, and achieving production targets while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day Machine Shop production operations.
Develop and execute production plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
Ensure optimum utilization of CNC, VMC, and other machining resources.
Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to achieve productivity targets.
Oversee tooling management, tool life optimization, and machining process improvements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Drive compliance with 4M change management and ensure process stability.
Ensure adherence to 14Q requirements and customer quality standards.
Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
Identify production bottlenecks and lead troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.




Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores for seamless production flow.
Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor personnel.
Monitor KPIs and prepare production performance reports for management.
Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and company policies.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of CNC and VMC machining operations.
Expertise in machine shop tooling and cutting tool management.
Production planning, scheduling, and execution.
Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Solid understanding of 4M change management and 14Q quality requirements.
Positive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Excellent people management and leadership skills.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
Effective communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
