Remote Internship – Building Automation / Smart City Platform Engineers (Niagara N4)

About the Role

We're looking for engineers to join a smart city building automation platform initiative, working with Tridium Niagara N4 to develop and integrate systems for large-scale infrastructure. This is a remote, offsite internship suited to candidates who can work independently and communicate clearly across time zones.

What You'll Work On
Niagara N4 station configuration, programming, and integration
BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT protocol-based device integration
Dashboard/UI development for building and energy monitoring systems
Supporting documentation, testing, and commissioning workflows for a large-scale smart city deployment

Who We're Looking For
Fresh graduates (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related)



with solid fundamentals and eagerness to learn
OR candidates with relevant hands-on experience/training in BMS, BAS, or Niagara N4
Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT) is a plus but not mandatory for freshers
Self-motivated, comfortable working remotely, valuable written/verbal communication

Stipend

A stipend will be provided. Candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills and contribute immediately will be considered for a higher stipend based on their level of readiness.
