We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our supermarket. The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of accounting, billing, cash handling, stock-related accounts, and basic computer applications.
Experience: 1–3 years preferred
Education:
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily sales and purchase accounts.
Record cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
Handle daily cash reconciliation and prepare cash reports.
Maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, and other accounting records.
Monitor supplier/vendor accounts and outstanding payments.
Assist with stock-related accounting and inventory reconciliation.
Coordinate with suppliers, management, and other staff regarding accounts.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements, as applicable.
Ensure accuracy of all accounting entries and financial records.
