Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, corridors, and assigned public areas in accordance with the hotel’s standards. The role ensures a comfortable and memorable stay experience for all guests through efficient housekeeping services and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
Make beds, change linens, and replenish room amenities and supplies.
Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, and sanitize all room surfaces.
Ensure all rooms are properly stocked and presented before guest check-in.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts, pantry areas, and service corridors.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and security procedures of the hotel.
Ensure lost and found procedures are followed accurately.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of guests at all times.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:




Minimum High School qualification or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel is preferred.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks efficiently.
Positive attitude with solid attention to detail.
