We are looking for an experienced Structural Fabrication Engineer with experience in steel structure fabrication, mechanical fabrication, modular/skid fabrication, and industrial projects.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating fabrication, assembly, inspection, and documentation activities for large industrial structures and equipment packages.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret GA, fabrication and assembly drawings.
Coordinate structural steel fabrication activities.
Supervise cutting, drilling, machining, bevelling, fit-up and welding.
Coordinate assembly, alignment and trial assembly activities.
Coordinate fabrication of platforms, ladders, handrails, gratings and access structures.
Support equipment insertion, positioning and alignment activities.
Coordinate with QA/QC, welding and NDT teams.
Monitor blasting, primer and final painting activities.
Prepare and review MTO/BOM and fabrication documentation.
Coordinate as-built drawings and documentation.
Monitor fabrication progress and coordinate with project/engineering teams.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
Cold Box fabrication
ASU / Air Separation projects
Modular structures
Skid fabrication
Heavy steel fabrication
Industrial equipment fabrication
Education
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
Experience
5–10 years relevant experience in structural/mechanical fabrication or industrial projects.
