We are looking for more than just a video editor. We need someone who understands current affairs and has a genuine interest in finance, business, economics and geopolitics.
The ideal candidate should be able to understand the story behind a script and translate it into an engaging, high-retention YouTube documentary.
What we’re looking for:
Experience editing 8–15 minute long-form YouTube videos
Strong understanding of finance, business, economics, current affairs and geopolitics
Ability to find relevant B-roll, news footage, archive visuals, maps, charts and article screenshots
Solid storytelling and audience-retention sense
Clean motion graphics, text animation and sound design
Ability to visually simplify complex financial and economic concepts
Valuable understanding of Hindi, Hinglish and English
Proficiency in CapCut as well as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
Knowledge of copyright-secure footage, music and Content ID rules
Ability to work independently and deliver within timelines
We are not looking for someone who only knows how to operate editing software. We need someone who can understand the subject, think visually and contribute to the storytelling.
