DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & On-Prem InfrastructureRole Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Jenkins, Linux, and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with physical/virtual infrastructure, troubleshooting Linux systems and networks, automating operational tasks, and supporting production-grade CI/CD environments.
This role is primarily focused on on-prem infrastructure and DevOps operations, rather than public-cloud-based DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins.
Administer and support Jenkins controllers, agents, jobs, plugins, and build environments.
Troubleshoot CI/CD failures across application, infrastructure, networking, and operating-system layers.




Manage and support Linux-based on-premises infrastructure.
Perform Linux system administration, performance troubleshooting, package management, storage/filesystem management, and service management.
Work with physical servers, virtual machines, and on-prem compute environments.
Troubleshoot basic-to-intermediate networking issues involving
Develop automation and operational tooling using Python and/or Bash scripting.
Automate repetitive infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and operational activities.
Participate in incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.

Required Skills
Robust hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Strong experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of CI/CD concepts, build pipelines, deployment workflows, and automation.
Robust hands-on experience working with on-premises infrastructure.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals
Hands-on scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
