Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Inspect, dismantle, repair, and assemble machines and components.
Handle maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, rollers, shafts, couplings, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
Carry out alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
Replace bearings, seals, couplings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
Identify mechanical faults and attend breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
Perform lubrication and routine inspection of mechanical equipment.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and shifting of mechanical equipment.
Read basic mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor.

Qualification




ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices.
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and fitting work.
Basic understanding of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdown situations.
Robust focus on safety and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Steel Plant / Rolling Mill / Sponge Iron / Ferro Alloy / Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
