A Head of Department (HOD) in Quality leads the quality assurance and control functions, sets performance standards, and ensures adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.

Position: Head of Department (HOD) - Quality
Department: Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC)
Reports To: Plant Head / Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Executive Management

Key Responsibilities
Policy & Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of quality engineers, inspectors, and lab technicians.
Process & Product Audits: Plan and execute internal and external audits, manage compliance, and drive defect investigations.
Data & Metrics: Monitor quality KPIs, analyze scrap/rejection trends, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Supplier Quality: Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to set raw material standards and monitor incoming quality

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
