Backend / Data Engineer (NodeJS & Python)

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NodeJS, MongoDB, and other relevant technologies.
Create and implement data engineering solutions, APIs, webhooks, and backend development processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze business needs for developing Python scripts.
Research and implement new data engineering and analytic methodologies with minimal guidance.
Refactor and optimize existing NodeJS scripts to adhere to contemporary principles.
Mentor junior team members in data engineering best practices and technologies.
Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python and cloud platforms.
Write robust and efficient code in scripting languages such as Python and Shell.

Requirements




Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institute with a focus on Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, data engineering, or a similar role.
Robust understanding of NodeJS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
Experience with data processing, analysis, and visualization using Python and relevant tools.
Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, as well as cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
Prior experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages like Perl and Shell.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning current technologies.
