Job Description – BPTH Faculty (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

Position Title: BPTH Faculty

Reporting To: Head of Academic

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) – Mandatory
Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in relevant specialty – Preferred / As per regulatory norms
Teaching experience as per institutional or university guidelines

Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and clinical demonstrations to BPTH students.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, PPTs, and study notes.
Conduct tutorials, seminars, and case discussions.
Ensure syllabus coverage as per university guidelines.
Clinical Supervision
Demonstrate assessment and treatment techniques.
Monitor student performance
Assessment & Evaluation
Prepare question papers, assignments, and internal assessments.
Conduct practical and viva examinations.
Evaluate answer sheets and maintain academic records.
Provide feedback to students for improvement.
Research & Development
Encourage research activities among students.




Participate in research projects, paper publications, and conferences.
Stay updated with latest physiotherapy techniques and advancements.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain attendance and academic documentation.
Participate in department meetings and academic planning.
Assist in accreditation, inspections, and compliance processes.
Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
Student Mentorship
Act as mentor/guide for assigned students.
Counsel students regarding academic performance.
Promote qualified ethics and discipline.
