We are looking for an experienced and dependable DCDP Chef (Demi Chef de Partie) to join our café kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage a section, maintain food quality and consistency, and support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

Key Responsibilities
Independently handle an assigned kitchen section during service
Prepare and execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Complete daily mise-en-place and ensure the section is ready before service
Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and plating
Support and guide Commis chefs and junior kitchen staff
Monitor stock levels and communicate daily ingredient requirements
Follow FIFO, proper storage, labelling, and food safety standards
Control portion sizes and minimise food wastage
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen
Coordinate closely with the senior chef and service team during service
Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
Support inventory checks and stock management




Take responsibility for the section in the absence of the senior chef

Requirements
2–4 years of relevant kitchen experience
Previous experience as DCDP, Senior Commis, or similar role preferred
Solid experience in continental or café-style food
Comfortable preparing pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, eggs, salads, and similar café dishes
Valuable knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage practices
Ability to work independently and handle pressure during busy service
Good organisational and teamwork skills
Punctual, responsible, and disciplined
Adaptable to work weekends and public holidays

Preferred
Experience working in a premium café, casual dining restaurant, or continental kitchen
Basic understanding of inventory and food-cost control
Ability to train and support junior kitchen staff

Salary: ₹25000–₹32000 per month, depending on experience and skill level

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
