Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting operations for the distribution business.
Handle distributor claims, schemes, incentives, credit notes and settlements.
Verify and approve claims based on supporting documents, company policies and agreed schemes.
Conduct regular distributor ledger, outstanding and claims reconciliation.
Identify discrepancies, investigate variances and ensure timely resolution.
Manage accounts receivable/payable and distributor outstanding.
Prepare and review MIS, ageing reports, claims reports and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Distributors for claim and account-related matters.
Support internal and statutory audits and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
Lead, guide and review the work of the Accounts team.
Ensure monthly closing and reporting are completed accurately and within timelines.

Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
Solid preference for candidates from FMCG, Cosmetics,



Consumer Goods or Distribution businesses.
Hands-on experience with Distributor Claims, Schemes, Credit Notes and Reconciliation is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
Positive understanding of GST, TDS and audit processes.
Robust proficiency in MS Excel and Tally/ERP.
Experience in MIS preparation and analysis.
Prior team-handling experience preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Sales teams, distributors and internal stakeholders.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA Attempted candidates preferred.

Candidates who have appeared for CA examinations but have not cleared them may also apply, provided they have solid practical Accounts experience.
