Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Participate in the design process from concept generation to functional prototypes, including simulations and circuit design.
Control System Implementation: Lead the development of digital closed-loop control systems for current Power Electronics converter platforms.
Modeling & Simulation: Perform converter modeling and simulation, selecting optimal control strategies for various topologies.
Hardware Development: Develop hardware control circuits and define operational limits for control systems.
Validation & Testing: Validate control strategies on Proof of Concepts (POCs) and functional prototypes, setting up test systems and lab experiments.
Prototyping & Iterative Design: Support rapid, iterative design processes using lab mockups and rapid prototyping to accelerate learning and results.
Safety & Standards: Follow workplace safety guidelines and Vertiv Energy core values, ensuring safe and responsible work practices.
Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively within cross-functional global teams, maintaining robust communication and collaboration.
