This role is part of a energetic and collaborative agile development team that builds and supports critical applications for Citi's Risk management operations. The team is focused on leveraging up-to-date technologies, specifically the Java and Angular ecosystems, to deliver cutting-edge financial technology platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Java (with Spring Boot)
for back-end services and Angular for the front-end.
● Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
● Implement robust and scalable back-end services and APIs using Java.
● Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.
● Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
● Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, providing effective solutions to complex technical problems.
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's development processes, tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
● Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in the Java and Angular communities.
