Stantec is looking for a Senior Highway Design Engineer that can be a part of
our growing team in Pune office. The candidate will be working with Highway
engineers and other senior staff in successful delivery of projects. At Stantec

Your Key Responsibilities
Produce and review design solutions from outline briefs, correctly
interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
Manage the design and drafting team(s) allocated on projects.
Training and mentoring staff, proposal preparation, project presentation,
project management and budget management.
Check design and assessment calculations and review detailed drawings.
Work on multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
Ensure delivery of project in accordance with quality, timescales, and
budget.
Produce and reviews designs, drawings and budgets to ensure that technical
designs will provide appropriate solution and budgets will be met.
Plan, program,



co-ordinate project teams and tasks.
Exercise quality control of team deliverables.
Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as
required.
Maintain records of all reports/drawings/documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Minimum 3 years’ skilled experience in the consulting and engineering
industry after graduate education, technical knowledge of road design in
Open Roads.
Civil3D and / or Inroads and/or 12D knowledge is a plus.
Positive knowledge of all aspects of technical standards and design codes such
as AASHTO, Austroads, DMRB.
Design delivery in Open Roads on international projects is a must.
Ability to take decisions independently and take directions from Seniors.
Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
Effective communicator and able to work under tight schedule
