Salesforce Developer / Systems Integration Specialist
Remote (European Working Hours) | Full time
We're looking for a Salesforce Developer / Systems Integration Specialist to join our remote team. This role sits at the intersection of Salesforce development, systems integration, and solution architecture. You'll connect business systems, build scalable integrations, and own technical projects from design through deployment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external business systems
Develop and extend Salesforce functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Own integration projects end-to-end — architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance
Build and maintain reliable API-led integrations across multiple platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and system issues efficiently
Document technical solutions clearly for engineering and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to improve development efficiency
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong software development background with hands-on systems integration experience
Experience building and consuming REST APIs and connecting disparate platforms
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in remote, international teams
Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical problems
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Salesforce development using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar
Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS)
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code
Previous experience leading or mentoring integration projects
