We have an immediate opportunity for you as Fund Accountant Legal Entities or Hedge Fund Accounting - Hyderabad.Location : HyderabadShift Timings : 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM ISTWork Mode : HybridTitle : Senior Fund Accountant to AM - IC RoleThe Entity Accountant will be responsible for the project to load deals to Geneva World Investor in preparation of books and records.Responsibilities include:Preparing and maintaining the books and records, for U.S. reporting purposes, of various types of legal entities organized under various jurisdictions; Accounting for inter-entity transactions; Monitoring the movements of cash within the deal and fund structures; Calculating allocations of income and expenses up to the different classes of limited partners of the private partnership investing funds; andWorking with Fund Accountants to reconcile differences between private partnership investing funds and their legal entities.Required SkillsPossesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle complicated work efficiently and effectively; Takes initiative to ask questions and detect problems; Team-oriented anddemonstrates a strong work ethic; Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills; andAbility to work well under pressure and with time constraints.Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting; CPA preferred;5+ years of accounting experience within the financial services industry preferred, but not required; Robust appreciation for the importance of investment structures and the maintenance of their books and records; Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis; Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant company accounting rules; Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; andExperience with Geneva World Investor desirable.We are looking for a Fund Accountant - Legal Entity experience i.E. Legal Entity Accounting and Reporting, Blocker Entities, Pass-Through Entities.
