The culture supports creativity, attention to detail, and a high standard of execution in every project.Role Description The Interior Designer will work in office in Kolkata in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and execution of residential and commercial interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts and mood boards, coordinating space planning, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. The role involves creating and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that designs are implemented according to project specifications and timelines. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and oversee site visits to monitor progress and quality.



This position requires consistent documentation, adherence to budget and regulatory guidelines, and alignment with Auralive Space’s design standards.Qualifications Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional layouts.Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including reading, creating, and coordinating technical documentation.Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and sourcing in line with design concepts and budgets.Strong skills in design software (e.G., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools for visualizing and communicating concepts.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with clients, project teams, and vendors on-site.Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior professional experience in interior projects is preferred.Understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Kolkata or the surrounding region is an advantage.
