This role is responsible for supporting the quality assurance of the MyWorldPanel platform through automation, functional validation, and collaboration with cross-functional delivery teams.
The position is suited to a candidate with strong testing fundamentals, practical automation experience, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery setting.

Role Overview

The SIT Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of the MyWorldPanel platform during ongoing delivery and migration activities. The role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and executing automated tests, while also supporting manual and exploratory testing where required. Working closely with developers, analysts, and quality assurance colleagues, the successful candidate will help deliver high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role also requires a basic level of AI literacy, including the ability to use tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar solutions to support productivity in testing activities.
Candidates should be comfortable using clear prompts, interpreting AI-generated outputs, and validating results to ensure accuracy and relevance to business requirements.

Core Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, functional, and regression testing.

- Support manual and exploratory testing activities to validate new or changing functionality.





- Ensure appropriate automation coverage for critical business workflows and regression scenarios.

- Integrate and maintain automated tests within Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous validation.

- Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, documentation standards, and Agile quality assurance practices.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including developers, analysts, and other quality assurance team members.

Skills & Requirements

Required Skills

- Proven experience in automation testing and functional validation within complex application environments.

- Strong understanding of UI testing, regression testing, and test execution best practice.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and familiarity with defect and test management tools such as Jira.

- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.

- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience working within sprint-based teams.

- Good analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, validate outcomes, and communicate defects clearly.

- Basic AI literacy,



including the ability to use tools such as Microsoft Copilot, write effective prompts, and review AI-generated outputs critically.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with Selenium and Java-based automation frameworks.

- Exposure to API testing, database validation, and data quality checks.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Previous experience supporting migration, transformation, or platform modernization initiatives.

- Awareness of emerging AI use cases in software testing, including test design support, automation acceleration, and analysis of test results.

- Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot effectively through clear prompting, structured requests, and critical validation of generated outputs.

- Willingness to adopt new AI-enabled ways of working as SIT Proof of Concept activities mature and approved tooling becomes part of delivery processe
