Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide 24x7 operational support for all Staples Cloud Infrastructure and participate in the on-call rotation.- Implement infrastructure availability and performance monitoring to ensure platform uptime and performance.- Automate OS/security patching, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cluster upgrades, etc.- Drive production readiness Permit to Operate (PTO) process for applications migrating into the public cloud.- Develop, maintain, and promote a culture of continuous enhancement for a robust knowledge management system for the Cloud Services team and its partners.- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers/Architects, SRE, Development, Release Engineering, and Database teams to support implementations into the cloud infrastructure.- Support aspects of the cloud migration initiative, including its impact on infrastructure, networks, and security.- Research, analyze,



and recommend solutions for challenging cloud operational issues.- Generate governance and compliance-related reports for management as needed.- Work with Staples Incident/Problem Management and cloud providers to drive root cause analysis (RCA) for high-priority issues in a timely manner.

Skills Required:

- Must have robust experience as a Linux Administrator supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure environments.- Must have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM Templates.- Must be proficient in automation tools including Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, and Terraform.- Must have experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.- Must have strong Linux system-level knowledge including shell scripting, systemd, and OS-level troubleshooting.- Must have working knowledge of API integrations using REST/JSON and WebSockets.- Must have scripting experience using Bash and basic knowledge of Perl.- Should have basic exposure to Kubernetes administration and cloud-native environments.- Should possess AZ-104: Azure Administrator certification or equivalent practical experience.

Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field.
