Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer

Overview: We are looking for a rising design leader to take on a Player-Coach role within our design team. In this position, you will be both a hands-on contributor and a mentor, leading a dedicated pod of 2–3 Junior Designers. You will be accountable for design quality, timely delivery and the professional growth of your pod members. This role is ideal for a Senior or Mid-level designer ready to formally transition into design leadership while continuing to solve complex design challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pod Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage the daily workflow of 2–3 junior designers
- Provide transparent direction, delegate tasks effectively, and remove blockers
- Support skill development through structured guidance and regular feedback
- Design Quality Control
- Conduct daily/weekly design reviews with your pod
- Ensure output meets established visual standards and UX requirements before stakeholder reviews
- Maintain consistency with the organization’s Design System
- Hands-On Design
- Spend approximately 50–60% of your time designing complex features and high-impact user flows
- Own challenging UX problems while delegating production tasks and smaller flows appropriately
- Process Management
- Organize and maintain structured design files
- Manage ticket status and workflows in project management tools such as Open Project
- Ensure systematic use of the Design System and component libraries
- Cross-Functional Collaboration




- Represent your pod in meetings with Product Managers and Developers
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable design tasks
- Ensure alignment between design, product, and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Lead or Senior Designer in an agency environment
- Experience conducting 1:1 meetings or performance discussions
- Working knowledge of CSS, React JS or React Native is an added advantage

Experience and Skills:

- 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality execution and problem-solving ability
- Proven leadership potential through mentoring, onboarding, or leading design initiatives
- Strong communication and feedback skills, with the ability to provide constructive and actionable guidance
- Basic project management capabilities, including scoping work, estimating timelines, and prioritizing tasks
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including file structuring and component library management

Education & Certifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Computer Science or a related field
- Relevant UX/UI certifications are a plus (e.g., Google UX Certification, NN/g UX Certification, Figma Advanced Certification)

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
