Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head / Plant In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our Gold & Precious Metal Refinery in Navi Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in gold/precious metal refining, recovery, melting, metal accounting and plant operations, with a proven ability to control process losses and maximise gold and silver recovery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete day-to-day refinery and plant operations along with the existing Plant Head.
- Act as the technical head for refinery operations and processes.
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ employees.
- Monitor and improve gold and silver recovery, yield and process efficiency.
- Ensure stringent control over metal losses and process variances.
- Monitor metal balance at every stage of the refining process.
- Ensure accurate metal accounting, inventory control, reconciliation and production records.
- Identify, investigate and minimise metal losses and recovery discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Laboratory, Maintenance, Stores, Quality and Management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in recovery, productivity, process efficiency and cost control.




- Ensure smooth production planning and timely completion of refinery operations.
- Maintain high standards of operational discipline, safety and quality.

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of relevant experience in Gold, Silver or Precious Metal Refining.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge of gold refining, precious metal recovery and melting processes.
- Proven experience in gold/silver recovery and metal-loss control.
- Strong understanding of metal balance, reconciliation, yield and recovery calculations.
- Experience in managing refinery/plant operations and production teams.
- Strong leadership, production planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate process variances and identify the causes of metal losses.
- Experience managing a team of 10+ employees will be preferred.
- Relevant technical/engineering qualification preferred.
