Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for the position of Finance Manager as EA to work closely with senior management on finance, business analysis, reporting, planning and strategic decision-making.

The candidate should have strong finance expertise along with prior working exposure in African countries and should be capable of independently coordinating with management and different business functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Management/Director on finance and business-related matters.
- Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
- Provide regular updates to management on the financial and operational performance of the business.
- Conduct financial analysis and highlight key risks, variances, cost-saving opportunities and areas requiring management attention.
- Support management in financial planning, budgeting and strategic decision-making.
- Review business costs, profitability, working capital and fund utilization.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, auditors and internal finance teams, as required.
- Review financial proposals, investments and business opportunities and provide analytical inputs.
- Track important management action points and ensure timely follow-ups and closure.
- Coordinate with different departments and African operations for information and management reporting.
- Prepare presentations,



financial summaries and decision-support reports for senior management.
- Handle sensitive financial and management information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Undertake other finance and management assignments as directed by senior management.

Mandatory Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in an African country – Mandatory
- Family person, preferably willing to relocate with family for a long-term assignment
- Strong background in Finance, FP&A;, Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting and MIS
- Solid understanding of cash flow, working capital, cost control and financial management
- Experience working closely with Directors / Promoters / Senior Management
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong command of Excel and financial reporting
- Willingness to relocate and work in an African country

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualification: Qualified CA
Experience: 8–12+ years overall, including minimum 3 years in Africa
Background: Finance Manager / Financial Controller / FP&A; / Finance Business Partner / similar finance leadership role
Relocation: Candidate should be comfortable with a long-term African assignment, preferably along with family.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be a core finance professional with strong business acumen, capable of working directly with senior management. The role requires a combination of financial expertise, analytical ability, management coordination and executive-level support, rather than being limited to routine accounting activities.
